Personalised Feedback and Assessment
This is the fourth component of the framework, where personalisation is achieved through appropriate adjustments to assessment and the provision of personalised feedback based on the individual learning needs of distance learners, such as their performance and preferences. This includes methods such as providing tailored responses or feedback based on learner attempts or incorrect inputs, using data visualisation to present personalised dashboards and progress tracking, and assessing learner characteristics. This ensures that evaluations more accurately reflect individual learner competence rather than relying on static assessment structures, thereby supporting formative learning and self-regulation.
